Late Nigerian author Chinua Achebe has been honoured in a Google Doodle

A Google Doodle is a special, temporary alteration of the logo on Google's homepage that is intended to celebrate holidays, events, achievements and people. Late Nigerian author Chinua Achebe has now been honoured by tech giant, Google as an important figure of 20th century literature.
The doodle is marking what would have been Achebe's 87th birthday today, November 16. He died in March of 2013 at the age of 82, having collected accolades that included the Man Booker International Prize, St. Louis Literary Award and the Peace Prize of the German Book Trade.
